More than 6,000 people lined the streets in glorious sunshine for the Collier Row Carnival.

The carnival parade saw stars from the silver screen as well as talented community groups dazzle crowds.

Ella Rayment, events organiser for the Collier Row Community Group who organised the day, said: “Sunday’s event was fantastic! The sun & the community were out in force - it was fantastic seeing everyone enjoying themselves.

“This years parade was Magic of the Movie themed, which lots of groups embraced with great fancy dress and costumes.

“The Fun day was even bigger & better than before with zorbing, bouncy castles, circus workshops, a fun dog show and more than 80 different stalls from local traders, businesses and much more!”
