Romford inspired work on display in the City of London

An artist who has been nominated for national awards is exhibiting an some of her Romford-inspired work in the City of London.
Five paintings by Joanne Mumford, who was nominated for the Mercury Art Prize in 2006, can be seen at 60 Threadneedle Street, near Bank.
Joanne, who has lived in Romford for 20 years, said: “Some of the pieces are inspired by Raphael Park, it offered a place of tranquillity and contemplation for me and was instrumental in generating some of my earlier studies and which was formative in the direction I took.”
Her large paintings are on display until May 13.
