Tens of thousands of people revelled in the Hornchurch sunshine as the Havering Show proved a hit yet again over the bank holiday weekend.

The two-day family event in Harrow Lodge Park featured musical acts, a fun fair, stunts from mototbike riders and a range of stalls and exhibitions - there was something for everyone.

Legendary 60s groups The Tremeloes and The Hollies headlined the music stage, and there were also performances from the likes of David van Day (of Bucks Fizz and Dollar fame) and Hope Murphy, the Hornchurch teenager who reached the semi-finals of last year’s Britain’s Got Talent.

Check out our picture gallery here with snaps from both days.

Audiences were treated to sublime weather as festival-goers enjoyed the last bank holiday until Christmas.

See this week’s Romford Recorder for a full review of the show and more pictures.
