A man and woman from Romford have been arrested in connection with the shooting of a man.

The pair were arrested on suspicious of conspiracy to commit murder on Tuesday, after police raided a home in Nazeing, Essex.

A man driving a silver Ford Transit van was shot while he was sat in his vehicle on Tuesday May 10 in Stanford-le-Hope, Essex.

He suffered life changing injuries.

The 24-year-old man from Romford was arrested last December as well for the murder of Paul-Simmons Turner in Waltham Abbey on December 8.
