The Romford hotel that hosted the Chinese media team during the Olympics has went into administration on January 17.
Harefield Manor, Main Road, is now being controlled by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Owner, Paul Harris, said: “We are in administration but still trading.
“Everything is as it was before and nothing is affected.”
A PwC spokesman said: “We plan to keep on trading the hotel for the next year or so but the intention is then selling the business.”
Last year the hotelier’s sports training facility Sporthouse in Mayesbrook Park, Dagenham, went into administration. He previously tipped it would be “bigger than Crystal Palace”.
