Rock-throwing yobs target bus windows in Rainham and Hornchurch

Callous hooligans threw objects at two buses in one night, smashing windows but thankfully injuring no one.

The first incident, which took place at about 8.45pm on Thursday, February 21, saw a rock thrown at the side window of a 103 bus in Dagenham Road, Rainham, shattering it.

And about two hours later, an unknown object was thrown straight through the windscreen of a bus in Minster Way, Hornchurch.
