Comedian and folk musician Richard Digance will be taking a short break from his hectic touring schedule to perform a one-night only show for Saint Francis Hospice.

Richard will entertain hospice supporters at an intimate show at the De Rougemont Manor Hotel in Great Warley Street, Brentwood, on Friday.

Tickets can still be snapped up for the show - titled An Evening with Richard Digance - and raise much needed funds for the hospice in the process.

Saint Francis Hospice fundraiser Mary Anne Donovan said: “We’re delighted to have the support of Richard Digance, who will be sharing his humour, music and anecdotes at this event.

“Richard has a busy year touring so why not get a ticket to see him when he comes to town and support your local adult hospice at the same time.”

Richard has previously been nominated for a TV Entertainer of the Year BAFTA and received a gold award from the British Academy of Composers and Songwriters.

He has also supported Tom Jones and Steve Martin.

Tickets are £30 and include a three-course meal. Call the fundraising office on 01708 771 427 for tickets.
