Staff at Kidspace Adventures came to work in their pyjamas on Friday and Saturday. And children playing at the centre joined in the fun with Kobi, the Kidspace mascot. Helen Mayes, general manager at Kidspace, said: “As Kidspace is all about fun and excitement, we wanted to do something fun to help raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.

The team always enjoy doing something a bit different and their idea of wearing their pyjama’s to work fits in perfectly with the “do something funny for money” campaign that Comic Relief launched.

Along with completing the poster sweepstakes provided by Comic Relief and paying to wear their pyjamas, the team raised important cash for Comic Relief!”

Sainsbury’s at The Brewery also supported the charity over the weekend by dressing up instore, as well as getting shoppers involved with raffles and games, and selling official merchandise.

The team at Namco Funscape also fundraised by dressing up as their favourite children’s characters, including super heroes.

Rubie Charalambous, centre manager at The Brewery, said: “We are delighted that our retailers raised so much money this Red Nose Day. The funds raised will make a huge difference to Comic Relief and support families all around the world.”
