Terry Jones, of Dominion Way, Rainham, also failed to surrender to bail on January 28.

He was fined £100 for the final offence, and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £60 victim surcharge in respect of the taking and driving the car.

Possessing 12 wraps of cocaine earned him 120 hours of unpaid work, and the drugs are to be destroyed.

He has also been banned from driving for 12 months.

Jones pleaded guilty to all charges and was sentenced at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court on February 25.
