The popular Rainham Arts Fair is set to return, except not in Rainham, but in Hornchurch.
The arts fair traditionally takes place at Rainham Hall, but due to restoration works, the fair will take place at Fairkytes Art Centre in Hornchurch, on Sunday September 22.
Entry is free and all are welcome from 11am to 5pm.
Visitors can see and buy a range of arts and crafts goods, including pottery, paintings and drawings, woodwork and glassware.
Also, the Rainham Association for Village Events will be on hand with a refreshments stall and will be fundraising for the Rainham Christmas Fayre.
Cllr Andrew Curtin, cabinet member for culture, towns and communities, said: “Last year’s arts fair attracted over a thousand people and we hope even more will come this year. There will be something for everyone, so please do come along and enjoy it.”
