Tonight the Havering Town Hall power struggle will be settled and the new administration will be sworn in.

It is expected that after the Residents’ Association failed to form a coalition, the Conservatives will lead a minority administration.

But all will be confirmed tonight as the new councillors’ vote for their leader and the cabinet is selected.

The Recorder will be tweeting live from the scene to let you know what happens so follow @romfordrecorder on twitter for regular updates.
