A man who fled an Essex court yesterday where he was due to answer charges of driving while disqualified and assaulting a police officer is being hunted by detectives.
Richard Lyttle, 45, along with a man and a woman jumped into a silver car at around 2.30pm which left Basildon Crown Court “at speed” along the Gore.
Lyttle is known to have connections with Harold Wood, Romford, Brentvvood and South Ockendon, in Essex.
He is not believed to be a danger to the public but police are nevertheless advising anyone who knows of his whereabouts or sees him to call 999 immediately and to not approach him.
A 41-year-old man has been stabbed at an address in Harold Hill.
