Police helicopter in Collier Row helps find suspected burglars

Two people were arrested on suspicion of burglary after help was drawn in from the police helicopter and a specialist dog unit.

The Met helicopter tweeted at about 2pm that they were helping officers search gardens around Elizabeth Close, Collier Row and that Havering police had detained two people.

Sgt Chris Toms, who works for Mawneys safer neighbourhood team, said on Twitter that the suspects were found by police dogs.

The police have been asked to comment.
