Romford’s reptile lovers will get the opportunity to handle snakes and lizards at a special event this weekend.

Pets at Home, in Rom Valley Way Retail Park, will host a “reptile awareness” event between 11am and 2pm tomorrow (Saturday).

Staff will introduce customers to corn and king snakes, bearded dragons and crested and leopard geckos. They will also give tips on how to look after reptile pets and the chance to handle some of the animals.
