School leavers are invited to an open day at Havering Sixth Form College.

The college in Wingletye Lane, Hornchurch is holding the event on Saturday Janaury 19 for all years 11 pupils and their parents from 10am to 4pm.

Visitors can look forward to formal presentations on a variety of subjects and informal drop in sessions.

Teachers and students from around 70 different courses will be available to answer questions and talk about life at the college.

College Principal Paul Wakeling will also be giving four talks during the course of the event and senior staff will be holding a question and answer session.

An informative planner will be available beforehand on the college’s website and will be handed out on arrival.

This will have details of the times and locations of the subject sessions to ensure visitors get the most out of the day.
