Youngsters were treated to a special festive offering.
The 1st Ockendon Scout and Guide group enjoyed a panto production of Cinderella at the Thameside Theatre in Grays recently.
The visit saw the whole theatre being reserved for the scouts, guides and their families.
Rob Clay, who organised the visit said: “We have made this an annual event for four years now.
“It is nice to get the whole group together and the cast wear our neck scarves during the show to make it more unique to us which we are most grateful for. Everyone enjoys the pantomimes at the Thameside and this year was no exception. We have already booked the date for 2013.”
The bloodied man seen ranting on camera minutes after a soldier was hacked to death in Woolwich yesterday was raised in an “ultra-Christian household” in Romford, friends of the family claim.
