A musical tribute to the Rat Pack has raised £1,000 for a Havering hospice.
The Las Vegas style musical tribute to Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr and Dean Martin was held at the Brentwood Centre on December 21.
The evening included songs like Volare and Come Fly With Me, and fundraisers raised money through a raffle.
Lynda Head, the community fundraising manager at St Francis Hospice, said: “I would like to thank Wayne Kennedy from the Rat Pack Tribute and Roger Davinson, the CEO of the Brentwood Centre, for allowing us to sell tickets on a commission basis and inviting St Francis Hospice to be the chosen charity of the night.
“Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Rat Pack audience we were able to sell every one of our raffle tickets and raise an amazing £1,000 donation towards hospice services.”
Three Havering West Ham fans are among ten charged by police following an investigation into football-related disorder before a Premier League match in Sunderland.
