Police were called to the accident in New Road this morning

Early morning drivers were involved in a collision in New Road, Rainham.

A Metropolitan Police spokesman confirmed they and the London Ambulance Service attended an incident involving multiple vehicles at 5.40am today.

The vehicles were in the central reservation near Willow Farm, with reports from a witness of three or four cars looking “smashed up”.

It is believed that nobody involved was seriously injured.
