A man racially abused an Elm Park shop attendant when the worker refused to sell him alcohol.

Today police released an image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the incident at the Elm Parade Shops, in Elm Park Avenue.

The attack took place at around 8pm on June 4 and the man the police wish to speak to is described as a white male aged around 18.

He is 5ft 8in tall with short brown hair and was wearing a white vest and blue jeans.

Anyone with information should call Romford police’s community safety unit on 101 quoting CRIS 5408344/14 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
