Man of no fixed abode fined for Rainham shop theft

A 40-year-old man has been fined for stealing nearly £150 of groceries from a Rainham shop.

Justin James, of no fixed abode, pleaded guilty on July 14 to stealing meat and other goods from Tesco on Bridge Road two days previously.

He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
