Man jailed for sexual assault in Romford

A 29-year-old man has been jailed for four years after sexually assaulting a woman in a Romford footpath.

Abdul Qadri, of Burges Road, East Ham, was sentenced at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Friday, after being found guilty of two counts of sexual assault.

The attack took place in The Battis footpath, Romford on May 26, 2012.

Qadri was also placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely and banned from working with children.
