Man charged with murder over body in Rainham warehouse

A man will appear in court tomorrow in connection with the death of a man found in a Rainham warehouse.

Ausras Maslovas, 45, a Lithuanian of no fixed abode, has been charged with the murder of 49-year-old Petras Miernykas, who was found in a building in New Road on Saturday.

Mr Miernykas, also from Lithuania, was discovered with a stab wound. A post-mortem examination yesterday gave his cause of death as hypothalamic shock.

Maslovas will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court.
