Man arrested after body found in Rainham warehouse

A murder investigation is under way after a man’s body was found in a warehouse in Rainham yesterday.

Police and paramedics discovered the victim in the building in New Road at around 9.45pm. He had suffered a suspected stab wound.

His next of kin has not been informed and a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.

A 45-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and taken into custody at an east London police station.
