A man was taken to hospital in the early hours of Saturday morning following an incident in Romford.

Ambulance services were called at 3.45am to a property in Percy Road.

A single responder in a car and one ambulance crew were joined by staff from London Air Ambulance who treated the man before escorting him to hospital as a priority.

The house remained cordoned off for much of Saturday.
