Life is good in Havering according to survey ranking residents among most satisfied in London

PUBLISHED: 09:04 24 October 2013 | UPDATED: 09:04 24 October 2013

Havering residents are among the most content in London, according to new figures.

The borough ranked sixth for life satisfaction in the capital, where some places were the most miserable in the UK.

Low stress levels might help, as Havering residents reported low levels of anxiety, but fared less well for happiness, with people only feeling a seven out of 10.

But most thought the things they did in life were worthwhile.

The survey by the Office for National Statistics asked how satisfied people were with their lives, how worthwhile they were and how happy and anxious they felt the previous day.
