A mum-of-two has launched an online campaign to promote the borough and its family-friendly activities.

After signing up for a social media management course with Digital Mums, which specialises in getting mums job-ready and helps them have flexible careers, Kaljinder Mann, of Grey Towers Avenue, Hornchurch, was eager to put her skills to the test.

When she moved to Havering about a year ago, she was pleasantly surprised to see how much there was to do for children and their families.

She said: “I decided to run the campaign Havering Fun with Kids as I wanted to make a song and dance about all the great things that are available.

“It’s definitely a lovely place to bring up children, with so many places to go and lots of activities to participate in.”
