A fostering agency is happy to announce that it has been rated outstanding by Ofsted for the third consecutive time.

The report on Nexus Fostering, based in Hornchurch, states that the agency is “outstanding across the board”.

Foster carer Jessica has described Nexus as “supportive, down to earth and approachable”.

Assistant director Paul Corner said: “I would like to say a massive thank you to all the efforts that have been made by everybody.

“It was a very in depth inspection that looked at cases going back to 2015.”

“Across the board [the inspector] found evidence of excellent work with carers and children and positive outcome and found evidence of sustained progress for children that was supported, promoted and driven by our staff and foster carers’ work.”

With a predicted 8,000 extra foster carers needed in 2018 alone, Nexus Fostering are keen to speak to anyone who would like more information about fostering.
