Objectors to the council’s plans for parking meters in the Hilldene shopping area can register their dissent on a petition.

Harold Hill Labour councillors Paul McGeary (Heaton), Denis O’Flynn (Heaton) and Pat Murray (Gooshays) will host a stall in Hilldene Avenue from 10am where you can find out more and sign a petition if you object to the council proposals.

The plans would see the area subject to a maximum two-hour stay and an incrementally increasing charge.
