A craft group is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special exhibition.
The Havering Quilters are displaying work at Havering Museum, High Street, until May 29.
They have produced quilts for charities to use as raffle prizes as well as creating them to mark significant events. Others have been commissioned by organisations.
The Havering Quilt was donated to Havering Museum in 2010 after hanging in Harold Wood for nearly 20 years.
Chairman of the group, Christine Constable, said: “Thirty years is a significant achievement and landmark for the group, particularly as when the group began crafts were not as popular as they are today. We are thrilled to be able to display examples of group and individual work at the museum alongside the Havering Quilt in its new home.”
Exhibitions team leader Matthew Abel added: “it is a pleasure to host the quilters here at the museum and I hope people will take this chance to come and see some of the beautiful pieces they have created in the last 30 years.”
