French politics are the subject of the next Havering Fabian Society meeting.

Barking and Dagenham councillor Sanchia Alasia (Alibon, Labour) will lead the discussion at Fairkytes Arts Centre, Billet Lane, Hornchurch, on Thursday, April 18.

Doors open at 8pm. Cllr Alasia is a specialist in European politics and blogs about the French presidency at http://sanchiaalasia.blogspot.co.uk.

Havering councillor Keith Darvill (Labour, Heaton) will chair.
