Havering Fabian Society will hold its annual general meeting on Friday.

The event is at Fairkytes Arts Centre, in Billet Lane, Hornchurch, from 7.30pm. It will be chaired by Cllr Keith Darvill (Labour, Heaton).

Guest speaker John Biggs – the London Assembly Member for London and the City – will give a talk called “London Under Boris”.

Mr Biggs chairs the London Assembly’s budget committee and sits on the police crime committee.
