Havering cabinet to debate £60m budget cuts

Havering Council’s cabinet will tonight debate the latest budget that seeks to make £60million of savings over four years while increasing council tax.

Libraries, social care and youth services are all under threat in the budget, as proposed by Conservative council leader Cllr Roger Ramsey, in order to balance the books.

The Recorder will report live from the Town Hall meeting that commences at 7.30pm.
