PC Anthony Kiddle attended Orange Tree Hill, in Romford, on Thursday morning after two response team officers spotted a muntjac deer trapped in a metal bar fence.

The deer was in some distress and had rubbed its fur from its body in an effort to release itself.

Response Team officers called PC Kiddle for assistance at about 8am, and utilising a hydraulic ram they were able to spread the bars apart and release the grateful animal, who then darted off into the local woods.

The deer was unharmed apart from the missing fur.
