Havering Council’s phone line and customer service desk in The Liberty, Romford, to reduce opening hours

Havering Council is to shear an hour off the daily opening times of its customer service phone line and public counter.
From July 1, the Public Advice and Service Centre (Pasc) in The Liberty, between H&M and Next, will open from 9am until 5pm.
Currently it opens for drop-between 8.30am and 5.30pm.
Customer services boss Cllr Michael Armstrong said: “Our research found residents generally visited our customer services centre between 9am and 5pm.
“The obvious next step, then, was to change the opening hours of our Public Advice and Service Centre and customer services telephone line to ones that suit our residents.”
