Havering dance groups are invited to apply to perform at Havering College’s first ever dance show in Hornchurch.

Horizons Dance Company from Havering College has launched their first dance festival which will see dance groups from the borough showcase their talent on Monday, January 28 and Tuesday, January 29 2019 in The Space at the Ardleigh Green campus.

Jamie Brown, performing arts technician told the Recorder: “It’s very exciting. We want to hopefully make it an annual event, where next year we could offer workshops with dance choreographers.

“The idea is to get more of the dance communities involved.

“We don’t want it to be competitive it’s more about joining together, networking between groups and creating a good atmosphere.”

All ages and abilities are welcome to apply to participate in the festival.
