Raise money for a Hornchurch children’s charity while playing golf next week.
First Step will be holding their third annual golf day at Langdon Hills Golf and Country Club on Thursday.
It will include breakfast, 18 holes and dinner at the course in Bulphan.
Prizes include: £10,000 for a hole in one; afour-day break at the five star Le Meridien at the Penina resort in Portugal; and a two-day break at The Belfry.
Tricia Cowdrey, CEO of the charity, said: “The golf day is an excellent addition to our fundraising calendar.
“The event offers a great opportunity for supporters and friends, suppliers and golf enthusiasts to join us, have a wonderful day golfing and make a difference to help a local charity.”
She added: “This year marks 25 years of First Step and, despite the economic challenges and recent confirmation of a cut in our funding, we remain steadfast to the values and commitments established a quarter of a century ago.
“First Step will support and encourage babies and pre-school children with special needs and/or disabilities and offer information, support and guidance to their families.”
