Roads in Gidea Park have reopened after a garage fire this afternoon.
Fire crews were called to a residential detached garage on Main Road at around 2.05pm.
The blaze was under control within an hour but the garage was severely damaged.
The road was closed and buses diverted as the fire was put out.
The bloodied man seen ranting on camera minutes after a soldier was hacked to death in Woolwich yesterday was raised in an “ultra-Christian household” in Romford, friends of the family claim.
