A Romford theatre company is preparing to perform a new musical based on Mary Shelley’s classic novel.

Frankenstein is set to come alive at the Brookside Theatre in Eastern Road, Romford in a production by Stage One Theatre from Wednesday Janaury 23 to Saturday January 26.

The production will be staged to raise money for the renovation of the Romford War Memorial Social Club, Eastern Road, Romford.

Frankenstein tells the story of the rebel scientist who challenges the very laws of nature and morality when he breathes life into an executed criminal with disastrous circumstances.

The creature, despised and driven by rage rebels against the world against him and sets off to find its maker.
