Former Blue Peter presenter to star in smash hit Broadway musical at Queen’s Theatre Hornchurch

A smash hit Broadway and West End hit musical which features some of the most iconic rock ‘n’ roll songs of all time is set to grace Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch, next month.

Million Dollar Quartet will star former Blue Peter presenter Peter Duncan as legendary recorder producer Sam Phillips, who brought Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins together as his Sun studios in Memphis, Tennessee in the 1950s.

The show will present a score of more than 20 classic hits included Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, I Walk The Line and Great Balls of Fire.

The audience at the Billet Lane theatre will be transported back to one of the most famous dates in music history, December 4 1956 – a night when the four jammed together.
