Environmental issues are set to be discussed by councillors at a Question Time-style event tonight.

Havering Friends of the Earth are hosting the debate, with representatives from different political parties answering questions on topics such as air quality, protecting green spaces and London City Airport.

The panel will include Havering Council leader Cllr Steven Kelly, leader of the Labour group Cllr Keith Darvill, leader of the Residents’ Association Cllr Clarence Barrett, and representatives from the Independent Residents’ Group and Ukip.

The event is at 7.30pm in Studio 1, Annexe Building, Fairkytes Arts Centre, Billet Lane, Hornchurch.
