Man rushed to Queen’s Hospital after quad bike crash

A man riding a quad bike was rushed to hospital and is in a “critical but stable condition” after he hit a telegraph pole and received serious head injuries yesterday.

The 23-year-old man was taken to Queen’s Hospital in Rom Valley Way, Romford, after the Ambulance Service was called to the scene at about 7.35pm on Hall Lane in Shenfield, Brentwood.

Police are now appealing for witnesses who have any information regarding the incident to come forward.

The injured man was riding a blue and white Yamaha quad bike and was riding in company with a blue motorbike.

Witnesses should contact PC Rayner at Chelmsford Road Policing unit on 101.
