Officers forced entry to the address this morning (Saturday, September 22).

A woman in her 70s was found dead at her home in Collier Row this morning.

Police received a call at around 9.30am today (Saturday, September 22) to Repulse Close in Collier Row.

Officers forced entry to the address and found a woman in her 70s unresponsive.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a file will be prepared for the coroner.

Enquiries continue.
