Commuters should expect delays and cancellations to services until the end of the day.

Because of a track defect on a set of points between Manor Park and Ilford, trains are running at a severely reduced speed.

Due to the congestion expected during the evening peak service, alterations and cancellations are being implemented to reduce to length of the delays to services that do run.

A reduced evening peak service will be in operation, and will be published as quickly as possible here.

A Greater Anglia spokesman warned that trains could be cancelled, delayed by up to 90 minutes or revised until the end of service.

Arrangements have been made for Greater Anglia rail tickets to be accepted by C2C.
