Police say the woman's condition is not life-threatening

There are serious delays on the A13 eastbound in Wennington because of an accident.

Police were called at Ferry Lane at 12.30pm after a lorry collided with a car.

Two people have been taken to hospital but the extent of their injuries remains unknown.

Traffic continues to be very slow London-bound between the Wennington Interchange and the Ferry Lane Interchange.
