Hundreds of residents turned up for this year’s Essex Gem and Mineral show.
The event was held at the North ROmford Community Centre in Clockhouse Lane, Collier Row recently.
Visitors were treated to a Stromatolite (blue-green alga mass), one of the oldest life form fossils and stone age tools.
Traders included David Bryant, who is Europe’s leading meteorite dealer.
The annual show was organised by the Essex Rock and Mineral Society.
