2013 Mineral and Gem Show held at North Romford Community Centre. This year's show attracted a great crowd with stalls displauing and selling precious rocks, meteroites and jewellery. Alfie looks around the stalls at the show.

Hundreds of residents turned up for this year’s Essex Gem and Mineral show.

The event was held at the North ROmford Community Centre in Clockhouse Lane, Collier Row recently.

Visitors were treated to a Stromatolite (blue-green alga mass), one of the oldest life form fossils and stone age tools.

Traders included David Bryant, who is Europe’s leading meteorite dealer.

The annual show was organised by the Essex Rock and Mineral Society.
