Teen struck by car in Hornchurch

An 18-year-old man was struck by a car last night and has been taken to hospital with serious head injuries.

Police arrived at Ardleigh Green Road, Hornchuch, at around 7.55pm and the teenager was taken to an east London hospital.

It is reported that although his injuries are serious, they are not life threatening and he is in a stable condition.
