Police are hoping to trace the owners of the luxury items – which they believe to be stolen – after finding them hidden in a sock in a car in Brentwood.

DC Chris Bailey appealed for anyone who recognises the accessories, which include two Role watches, a Cartier watch and three distinctive rings.

He said: “All of these items were found in a car which was stop checked in Brentwood on Friday July 18.

“They were all hidden in a sock and we have a strong suspicion that they are stolen property. If anyone recognises any of these items I would ask them to contact me at Grays Police Station on 101.”
