Possessing drugs not a licence and insurance gets Romford driver fined

A 24-year-old man was fined £180 for driving while in possession of cannabis rather than a licence and insurance.
Mohamed Mohamed, of Fields Park Crescent, Romford, pleaded guilty on March 24 to driving his Toyota Avensis on Western Road, Romford, without the correct driving licence.
He also pleaded guilty to being without insurance or a security in respect of third party risks and possessing cannabis in the incident that happened on March 10.
Mohamed was ordered at Barkingside Magistrates’ Court to pay a £130 fine for lacking insurance and a £50 fine for possessing the Class A drug.
He must also pay £85 in costs and a £20 victim surcharge.
He was also disqualified from driving for six months.
