Shoppers bagged leaflets, posters and equipment to help prevent crime.
Officers from Cranham Safer Neighbourhoods Team handed out the goods at Waitrose in Upminster.
PCSO Julie Wade said: “We were able to ensure the crime prevention message continues to be highlighted locally.
“It is important that we all work together to tackle crime in our ward.”
